When I was a student Nobby used to come in for all kinds of weed-related shenanigans, including making the poor cat wear Elvis glasses (this image has not been retouched in Photoshop at all). Nobby died recently after reaching the impressive age of 19. A long and happy life.
Mel was an old girlfriend of mine who was very pretty but quite stupid, something she cheerfully admitted. It made me realise that I could never go out with anyone I couldn't have a decent conversation with. We didn't last long and parted on good terms.
One of the best bands in the world: Polysics. If you can catch them live, you must see them - they'll blow you away! I photographed the band on Brighton Beach after their soundcheck when they did a brief UK tour a couple of years ago. A really cool bunch of guys!
